Scientific Innovation
Hannah aims to help shape the future of bio- and neurotech across borders through early-stage investing, ecosystem building, and supporting scientific founders. She approaches the world with a scientific mindset, shaped by her education in biology and neuroscience and diverse experiences research, startups, and VC.
Academic Foundation: Hannah holds a bachelor's in biology from Amherst College (focusing on neuroscience) and a master's in molecular medicine from Charité. Her education equipped her with a strong understanding of biological systems and spans multiple disciplines, including data science and programming, adding technical perspectives.
Research Experience: Hannah has sought a wide range of experience, across fields and countries. She has worked in field studies in Peru, plant molecular genetics, in neuroscience with zebrafish at Amherst College, alongside PhD students at Alicante's Institute of Neuroscience, in electrophysiology in Charité's Rosenmund lab, and on computational projects with the Herzel, Schmal and Granada groups.
Startups and Investing: Hannah's experience spans roles at an AI tech startup, family office TruVenturo, Apollo Health Ventures, and Nucleate. At Apollo, she works in both early-stage investing and company building in the fields of bio- and neurotech, applying rigorous scientific scrutiny to identify promising innovations. As co-MD of Nucleate Berlin, she supports scientific founders in translating discoveries into impactful ventures.
